After School Clubs: Information for parents

Whether your child wants to make new friends and have fun, or dreams of having a career in performing arts, we will work with them and mentor them. As part of our after school clubs, we encourage all of our students to be creative in their work and all aspects of their lives.

We believe that every child has the right to be creative and develop. This is seen through our yearly performances, where all of our students take part in a festival of performances that they devise with our teachers. All students also get the opportunity to take part in regular performances with our partners in the industry, such as Heartbreak Productions.

Our teachers are trained in performing arts and teaching, and our classes regularly compliment the school curriculum, focusing on texts regularly read in schools and the development of speaking and listening skills.

Maintaining our values are important to us and our after school clubs are open to all children from all walks of life. Our staff are DBS checked, trained in safeguarding and in working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). We pride ourselves in being one of the few performing arts companies that offers an environment where individuals with SEN successfully integrate and work effectively with others.

To find out if we have an after school club in your child’s school, click here to see the schools we are working with. If your child’s school is not on the list, contact us to recommend them or ask us about our community classes.

For some of our after school clubs, we now require you book and pay via our online booking system. Please check whether your school is listed below and and click the ‘Book Now’ button for your child’s school and the correct term.

Classes are very good value for money. Staff are professional, knowledgeable, patient and enthusiastic. Drama club allows my child to explore a creative outlet that is not fulfilled at school.

My son is loving the drama and the teacher. It is really wonderful to see him enjoy something so much and taking part. He usually sits on the side and doesn’t feel able to just be himself. He is always afraid he will behave badly, and so airs on the side of total caution or on the other end and has no caution at all (bringing his negative behaviours into full action). This group is enabling him to have fun while being himself…his goofy wonderful self. Thank you, it means the world to us.

My little seven year old started with you guys in September and she has had the time of her life. You give her a safe, secure and happy place where she can really express herself and let all her drama magic out. Thank you very much, from me and Annabel-Rose.
