Freelance Performing Arts Tutor Post (January start)

Hours: Variable (MUST be available Mondays and Fridays)

Rate of Pay: TBC according to experience

A Mind Apart Theatre Company Limited is a Social Enterprise based in Sheffield. We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic freelance performing arts tutor for our after-school club and evening class delivery throughout Sheffield and South Yorkshire.

We are looking for someone able to work set sessions each week which may include evening and weekend work. The appointee will be expected to have an interest and experience of working with children and young people. The opportunity may be suitable for someone starting out in their career or for someone already with a part time job but wanting extra work. There will be the opportunity for further teaching work and professional development throughout the organisation with other age groups and abilities, according to your experiences, qualifications and enthusiasm to work with us.

It will be preferred if the candidate holds a driving license and is able to drive, although this is not essential. The chosen applicant must have a DBS check or be willing for one to be done.

All relevant training will be given to the candidate, but those already holding safeguarding, prevent,  and first aid training may be at an advantage. Ideally teacher trained or working towards a teaching qualification.
